Accounts
Use accurate information when registering and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Email verification confirms access to an email address; it does not by itself approve a business claim or creator profile. Staff review is required before those account types receive publishing access.

Optional updates
You may separately choose email updates and text updates when creating an account or editing your contact preferences. These choices are optional and do not affect account access. If you choose texts, Cleveland Guides may send news and local recommendations to your provided number, up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. You can also change preferences in your account or contact [email protected]. Account and verification messages are separate from optional updates.
Business listings and claims
A business claim must be submitted by an owner, manager, or authorized representative. Select the correct business page and describe your connection truthfully. Cleveland Guides may request more information, decline a claim, or resolve competing claims. Approval of an account does not grant control over every listing; a specific listing claim must also be approved.
When editing an approved listing, keep hours, contact information, descriptions, and photos accurate and current. We may correct, decline, or remove listing changes that are misleading, unsupported, or violate these terms.
Creator posts and other submissions
You keep ownership of photos, writing, and other material you submit. You give Cleveland Guides a nonexclusive permission to store, resize, display, and share that material as part of the site and its promotion. This permission lasts while the material is on the site and for reasonable technical or archival copies. You can remove your creator posts through your account or contact us about other submissions.
Only upload material you made or have permission to use. Do not submit someone else’s private information, infringing content, or a social post you are not authorized to share. Public social links may be displayed or embedded on business and creator pages. The original social platform controls its own post and playback. We may review, edit for format, reject, or remove submissions, and we do not promise that every submission will be featured.
Using the site
Do not use Cleveland Guides to impersonate someone, submit spam or false claims, interfere with the site, scrape it in a way that disrupts service, or attempt to access another person’s account or private data. We may limit or suspend access and remove content when needed to protect the service, its users, or third-party rights.
Links to businesses, maps, social networks, and other websites take you to services we do not control. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them.
Guides, scores, and availability
Our guides, rankings, Hype Scores, ratings, and recommendations are editorial information for planning. Business hours, prices, offerings, events, and availability can change. Confirm details with the business before visiting or making plans. Cleveland Guides does not provide or guarantee the products and services offered by listed businesses.
We work to keep the site available and accurate, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free information. The site is provided as available, subject to applicable law. We may change features or these terms and will post an updated date here. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
