Cider comes first at Bent Ladder in Doylestown, in the Akron and Canton area, where the Vodraska family runs a cidery and winery on their Rittman Orchards farm. They also grow 6 acres of hybrid grapes for an estate wine list that runs from dry styles to a Vidal Blanc ice wine. Food comes from rotating food trucks. The reclaimed wood, steel and glass tasting room sits on a hill above a pond, and the lawn has Adirondack chairs, sunset views and live music on summer weekends.
