What to know.
On the Brady family's farm in Wellington, in southern Lorain County, 14 acres of vines cover part of a 140 acre property, and every Heron Creek wine is grown and made there. The grapes include Pink Catawba, Chardonel, Riesling, Marquette, Cabernet Franc and Traminette, and the list runs from dry to sweet, with spritzers and mini bottles too. Pizza and other food trucks come for Saturday events. Owners Steve and Sue pour and talk with guests, and the setting is quiet country views.
