What to know.
The Gideon Owen cellars on Catawba Island near Port Clinton date to 1872 and were long known as Mon Ami. Since 2022 wine has been made on site again from Lake Erie grapes, and the Tirage Wine Bar pours its own and imported wines from self pour tap stations. This is mainly a restaurant, with brunch, lunch and dinner and a separate dinner room called The Chalet. The historic grounds include a patio, a deck bar with live music and garden spaces used for weddings.
