What to know.
Every wine at The Winerie is grown and made on its own vineyard on State Route 4 in Sandusky, the former Hermes Vineyards property. The tasting room is a restored post and beam barn with a fireplace and a chandelier, and a wraparound porch looks over the vines. The estate list leans dry, with Pinot Gris, Traminette, Dornfelder and a sparkling Pet Nat, and there is a full bar too. The kitchen serves dips, boards and comfort food, and bands play on weekends.
